Situated at Belgrave in the Dandenong Ranges, Heel and Toe Podiatry has been offering complete foot care to the whole family since 2009.

 

Heel and Toe Podiatry serves the areas of Tecoma, Belgrave, Ferny Creek, Sassafras, Olinda, Ferntree Gully, Upper Ferntree Gully, Upwey, Boronia and neighbouring suburbs.

 

Podiatrists are health professionals specialising in the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of disorders of the foot and the lower limb. The Podiatrist’s scope of practice includes areas such as paediatrics, diabetes, sports injuries, structural problems, the treatment of ageing feet, ingrown toenail surgery, as well as general foot care.

 

We are located in the Belgrave Arcade, 9/1647 Burwood Highway, Belgrave VIC 3160.

Your Appointment – On The Day

If you are a new patient, allow 45 minutes for your appointment. For subsequent appointments, 30 minutes is required. We request that you arrive 10 minutes before your appointment time to complete any required paperwork.

 

You do not need a referral to visit Heel & Toe Podiatry, however we are supported by and receive referrals from Local General Practitioners, chiropractors, Myotherapists, Physiotherapists, Massage Therapists and Pharmacists.

 

Please bring along any X-rays, scans and referrals relevant to your feet. Wear socks and comfortable clothes which can be rolled up to your knees.

Initial Consultation (45 minutes)
Standard: $85.00

 

Subsequent/Review Consultation (30 minutes)
Standard: $75.00
Pensioner/Health Care Card: $70.00

 

Payment can be made by cash, EFTPOS, credit card or cheque, at the time of your consultation.

 

Patients who have private health insurance with an extras (or ancillary) package can receive an on-the spot refund via the HICAPS system for Podiatry services. Rebates will depend on type of policy.

 

*Defence Force Veterans who hold a Gold Card, are entitled to a wide range of (bulk billed) podiatric treatment including orthoses and ongoing treatment. Veterans need to have a referral from their local GP for Podiatry Services to be covered by the Department of Veteran Affairs. Referral required from your GP.

Please inform us by telephone within 48 hours if you are unable to attend your appointment. Failure to notify of your cancellation may incur a fee.

Our Podiatrists

Beth Mueller
B.Pod., D.E., M.A.Pod.A

 

Beth Mueller completed her Bachelor of Podiatry at La Trobe University in 2004. Her clinical experience in Private Practice, Public and Community Health has resulted in an extensive range of knowledge in all areas of podiatry. In September 2009, Beth founded Heel and Toe Podiatry. Her special interests include Diabetes and Biomechanics (the science of movement). Beth is a member of the Australian Podiatry Association and regularly attends focus groups, conferences and seminars.


 

Annemarie Lonetti
B.Pod., AdDipHSci (Accupuncture), BHSci (TCM)

 

Following completion of her Bachelor of Podiatry in 1996, Annemarie started her work as a podiatrist in the private sector. She has worked in many roles in rural and urban practice and developed clinical skills through manufacturing of orthoses, affiliations with sporting clubs and group work for patients with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and mobility issues. Whilst working full-time, Annemarie also committed herself to further study to complete an Advanced Diploma in Health Sciences (Accupuncture) and a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Traditional Chinese Medicine by 1999. Annemarie started working for Heel and Toe Podiatry in late 2011, and has since provided her patients with relief from many painful and chronic problems including heel spurs and circulatory problems. Annemarie has a special interest in circulatory and biomechanical issues.


 

Michael Ramadan
B.H.Sc. (Pod) (Hons)
M.A.Pod.A

 

Michael completed an Honours degree in Health Science (Podiatry) in 2005 at Charles Sturt University. He worked in Hervey Bay before moving to work in Melbourne’s Eastern suburbs in 2008. Since 2010 he has worked in Olinda, providing all podiatry services including biomechanical assessment and orthoses prescription, diabetes assessment and education, nail surgery and general nail and skin care. He is committed to ongoing professional development to keep his knowledge up to date for his clients. Michael is married with two little boys. He loves going for walks with the kids and their miniature dachshund Bruce. He also enjoys going to the gym, and he supports Collingwood in the AFL.

Medicare

All DVA gold card holders are bulk billed with the relevant referral. All Medicare referrals through your GP have a Medicare stipulated rebate, but are not bulk-billed. There are limited options for bulk billing in exceptional circumstances. Please note, we require 24 hours notice for all cancellations, or a small cancellation fee may apply.

HICAPS

We are registered with all funds through HICAPS and can process your claim immediately with your private health card.

Orthotic Coverage

Podiatrists are the only profession recognised by ALL private health funds to prescribe orthotics.
